It is no longer unusual for people to say...

At Easter next year, Frithjof and Janne Øverdal from Stavanger are taking their ildren and grandildren on a one-week cruise in the Caribbean combined with a week in Florida. Holiday budget: NOK 350,000.
- I am turning 60 soon. We see su a trip as a great opportunity to be all together on a cruise and give ildren and grandildren a new experience that they themselves do not have the opportunity to prioritize at the stage they are in in life, says Frithjof Øverdal.
- As it is a special occasion, we have rented junior suites next to ea other on the cruise ship. Living well on holiday is important to us, he adds.
In the last week in Mexico, the ildren have rented a house https://propertiesbaymx.com/property_location/real-estate-tulum/ together, while the Øverdal coue are traveling around a coue of hotels in Key West and Miami.
- We travel a lot in general, even though we have a cabin in Southern Norway, says Øverdal.
- Must have the best
More and more peoe are doing like the Øverdal family and spending hundreds of thousands - up to a million - on a single holiday trip. This is confirmed by Australiareiser/Fijireiser and BeCuriou on Tjuvholmen, whi tailors spectacular luxury trips to Norwegians.

(Photo: Private) More...- It is no longer unusual for peoe to say "We have 500,000. What kind of vacation can we get for that?” says travel consultant Susanne Larsson at Fijireiser, whi specializes in the Pacific.
She says that travel budgets are getting bigger and bigger. This year, Fiji Travel has more bookings over half a million for coues or families, whi was unthinkable just a few years ago.
- These are customers who know what they want, where they want it and who want 100 percent tailoring. They are looking for a unique experience, and money is not the most important thing, says Larsson.
Sales director Martin Dahl Jespersen at Australia Travel agrees:
- We have far more orders over a quarter of a million kroner now than before. The main group are coues in their fifties who want the best of the best. They will stay at exclusive resorts close to the Australian nature and fly business return. The price doesn't matter, he says.
- Today, it takes a lot before a destination is considered exclusive, since everything is so accessible. Our customers want that little something extra, and they would rather not meet their neighbor on the bea, adds Susanne Larsson.
